Types of courses offered
Instructor Led Course
Courses are training courses where candidates achieve their certification by participating and successfully completing an in-person only training program led by a Red Cross Instructor Trainer Educator.
Blended Learning Course
This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours 5 minutes to complete the online portion.

First Aid/CPR/AED
American Red Cross Certification Class
This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This is a blended training course that includes an online portion and an instructor-led classroom session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC, MAC, or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Basic Life Support
American Red Cross Certification Class
The purpose of the Basic Life Support (BLS) program is to ensure that healthcare providers have the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. The course emphasizes active, hands-on learning and uses scenario activities to help participants learn how to provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve an obstructed airway for adult, child, and infant patients. The Basic Life Support program is available in the following formats: classroom (instructor-led) and blended learning.

Babysitter’s Training American Red Cross Certification Class
The purpose of the Babysitter’s Training program is to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This course — designed for youth ages 11 to 15 — helps participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic childcare and basic first aid. The Babysitter’s Training program is available in classroom (instructor-led) format.
